Website Terms
These terms cover using this website. Buying from us is covered separately by the Terms of Sale and the Returns & Refunds policy.
1. Who this site is for
This is a business-to-business site. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 and are acting for a business, and that you have authority to bind that business when you place an order.
2. Accounts
Ordering needs an account. Keep your credentials confidential, use a password you do not use elsewhere, and tell us at once if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Do not share an account across a team where each person should have their own, and do not let anyone use yours who is not entitled to see your company's part designs.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to abuse the site, or that has been dormant for a long time.
3. Estimates are estimates
Figures the site marks experimental, including minimum bend radius, are produced by a model and are guidance only. They are not part of any product specification. Do not rely on them for a design decision without confirming with us in writing.
Shipping estimates and stock levels are estimates, not commitments.
We try to keep catalog data accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors, and we may correct pricing or specifications at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the catalog, or use automated means to submit quotes or orders.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the site, or try to reach any account, order or file that is not yours.
- Interfere with the service or attempt to overload it.
- Reverse engineer the site or use it to build a competing service.
- Misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
We may rate limit, suspend or block anyone who does. Security research is welcome under section 8 rather than by testing production.
6. Our content
The site, its text, renders, drawings, catalog data, software and the look of it are ours or our licensors', and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them to evaluate and buy from us, and nothing else. The renders on this site are our own parametric catalog geometry, not customer parts.
7. Availability, and disclaimers
We do not promise the site will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. Planned work may take it offline.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site (as distinct from goods you bought, which the Terms of Sale govern) will not exceed US$100.
8. Reporting a security problem
If you find a vulnerability, tell us at sales@stratoslaser.com before disclosing it anywhere else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Do not access, alter or delete data that is not yours while investigating. We will not pursue legal action over good-faith research that follows this.
9. Links
Links to other sites are for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after we do means you accept the new version. The date at the top says when it last changed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Yolo County, California.
